Leading the world in Cloud based video tools

Chyron Online was formed in January 2008 after Chyron acquired AXIS Graphics, a unique proprietary web-based graphics system that has pioneered online graphics production. AXIS is the world’s first online content creation system for broadcasters and new media providers. Combining your existing on-air and online graphics packages with up-to-the-minute and relevant content, AXIS enables anyone with an Internet connection the ability to build broadcast quality news graphics, charts, quotes, maps and weather instantly; and the system is hardware independent!

Field acquisition and resource pooling news journalists shooting material on location can upload at edit quality using FORscene Load software on their laptops, while storing the uncompressed material locally. Specialist editors based remotely can use FORscene’s frame-accurate editing tools to piece together and edit content from a host of sources. With access to material from a range of journalists, resources can be pooled allowing for a single editorial point of decision. This enables greater quality control throughout the news broadcast.

With Axis graphics, FORscene can incorporate maps, charts and other graphics into its video.

Once material has been edited, submitting for DV publishing triggers the upload of the chosen DV frames stored at the remote locations. Once uploaded, FORscene completes the publishing providing a full quality file to be downloaded and inserted into the final broadcast by other users if required, with all AXIS graphics at full-quality resolution.
